The field tests of the new generation turbine blades to be produced within the framework of an international patent application made by Asst. Prof. Dr. Cihan ÇIFTCI, one of the faculty members of our department, are being investigated in medium-scale wind turbines. Within the framework of this research, it is aimed that such new generation blades will take their place in the renewable energy sector in near future and even become a serious alternative to today's wing technology, thanks to their being more environmentally friendly, less costly and more efficient.
