Civil engineering students of Abdullah Gül University (AGU) take some courses on transportation at Kayseri Transportation Inc. (Kayseray). In this way, students both get the chance to apply the theoretical knowledge they acquire on the field and gain sectoral experience.
This semester, third and forth year Civil Engineering students take the" Kayseri Transportation Railway Engineering" course at the facility of the Kayseri Transportation Inc. in the organized industrial zone.
The classes are held on the field within the scope of the cooperation protocol singed between AGU and Kayseri Transportation Inc. (Kayseray) in order to develop innovative courses on "Transportation" and offer them at undergraduate level in the Civil Engineering department.
Coordinated by Dr. Halil İbrahim Fedakar, faculty member at the AGU Civil Engineering, the Railway Engineering course will continue the whole semester with the participation of officials from Kayseri Transportation Inc.
At the Spring Term, Kayseri Transportation Railway Design Project course will also be held on the field.
